A revival of the traditional South African boerseep — the farm soap our grandparents relied on — made the old-fashioned way with grass-fed beef tallow from local farms. Tallow closely mirrors the fatty acid profile of human skin, which is why it absorbs so readily and provides deep, lasting moisture that plant-oil soaps often cannot match. This unscented version contains just three ingredients: grass-fed tallow, lye, and water. Nothing else. That simplicity makes it ideal for people with allergies, chemical sensitivities, or skin conditions like eczema that flare up in response to fragrances and additives. The bar is larger than our plant-based soaps at 150g and lasts significantly longer due to the density of the tallow. Made in small batches in Blouberg, Cape Town, honouring a South African tradition that deserves a comeback.
